You’ve unboxed the device, have picked an installation site, and now you’re ready to install
You want to learn about best practices for installation and what to avoid

Complete this onboarding checklist before deploying a sensor into the field:
- [ ] A unique name for the site is chosen. This will be your proposed Station Name. ie: “Azure Lagoon, Paradise HI” This can be changed lat any time.
- [ ] Goals and objectives for the sensor data is shared with Hohonu
- [ ] A site visit was performed and pictures were shared with Hohonu
- [ ] Estimated GPS was collected and shared with Hohonu
- [ ] An installation lead person is identified and connected with Hohonu
- [ ] A RTK lead person surveyor is identified and connected with Hohonu
- [ ] A tentative deployment period or date is scheduled and shared with Hohonu
- [ ] Hardware for mounting is on hand
- [ ] Your organization has Hohonu user accounts setup for all data access
- [ ] Your sensors node numbers are verified operational before deployment
- [ ] CONDITIONAL: Permissions, permitting, and approvals are in order
